"Nebraska's Wetland Birds" note cards
Set of 10 cards and matching envelopes; 2 each of 5 different wetlands birds found in Nebraska - nicely packaged in clear plastic boxes
Many shorebirds live in Nebraska or pass through on their migrations. Armand has delicately rendered five of them for this set of notecards. Depicted in this set are the American Avocet, Snow Geese, a Sandhills Crane, a Great Blue Heron and a Killdeer. Armand studied them for many years at a residence on Lake Waconda where many of them rest or nest. Armand's favorite is the Great Blue Heron for its grace, beauty and slow flight skimming the water.
The Sandhills Cranes pass through Nebraska on their migrations. 80 percent of them pass through an 75 mile stretch of the Platte River from around Kearney to Grand Island.
These beautiful bird drawings are available as note card sets or individually as 5 x 7, 8 x 10 or 11 x 14 double matted prints or framed and double matted prints under glass.
