The Sandhills Cranes Set

Sandhills Cranes are greyish to white, but may appear rusty brown from preening with iron-rich mud. They originate in Alaska and Canada and migrate to Mexico, southern Texas and Florida for the winter. 80 percent of them pass through a 75-mile stretch of the Platte River in the spring migration.
Their characteristic mating dance involves throwing grass and sticks into the air, loud cackling calls, erect postures with their heads thrown back and flapping wings. Set of 10 cards and matching envelopes; 2 each of 5 crisp color drawings - nicely packaged in a clear plastic box bound with a bright gold bow.
